Hi, I'm Adam

A senior software engineer at ThanksBen, who loves cycling and coffee. This will be a place for me to document my travels, mainly to share with my family, but it's also a place for me to document my thoughts and experiences. Who knows how much love this will actually get but I am all for trying.

At work I am currently working on building stability and best practices for the team. The main focus point right now is improving observability and leveling up our proactive monitoring. Previously I have worked on improving core data modelling to allow for better scalability and performance, reducing test flakiness, and improving the overall quality of the codebase through guidelines, custom lint rules and review guidance.
